Spa Valve Actuator Replacement - Tuscan Hills
If you switch your pool over to spa mode and the water never actually moves, the valve itself is usually fine. The part that fails is the small motor sitting on top of it that does the turning, and it wears out long before the valve underneath does. That is exactly what we found on this Tuscan Hills pool. We replaced the motor on the Jandy valve, set the stopping points so it turns the right amount each way, and ran it back and forth between pool and spa until we were sure it landed where it should every time.
Pool Waterfall and Spa Spillway - Lexington Park
Three waterfalls built into a stacked stone wall, with the spa spilling over into the pool right beside them. The stonework is the part everyone notices, but the tricky bit is getting all three to pour an even sheet of water at the same time. That comes down to balancing the flow. The spa edge has to carry water cleanly into the pool too, instead of running down the back of the stone or splashing out onto the deck. This one is in Lexington Park here in Denton.
Salt Cell Diagnosis and Replacement - Hidden Valley Airpark
This Hidden Valley Airpark pool runs two Jandy AquaPure cells. We diagnosed the salt system first and then installed a new AquaPure cell. Some larger pools run two salt cells instead of one, so low chlorine can come from either cell or from the system that controls them. Before replacing anything, it is worth cleaning off scale and confirming the salt level and flow, because those can mimic a worn out cell.
